DESCRIPTION:Visit the MAC Art Gallery from September through December 2026 to experience the “Americana Autumn” – a collective\, fiber-art show on the walls of the historic Northborough Meetinghouse.  \n\n\n\nA collection of quilts\, weavings\, hooked rugs\, embroidery\, knitting\, and more from local women artists\, this exhibition will showcase forms of art that are much more than hobbies and crafts\, but carry deep significance will resonate at deeply personal lever as well as encapsulating a universal experience. \n\n\n\nVisit us during Northborough AppleFest on Saturday\, September 26\, 11am to 3pm for official exhibition opening reception. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition will also be open to during all Meetinghouse Arts Center events. DESCRIPTION:Cynthia and Gordon are back at the MAC! Their lively and heartfelt folk music from Prince Edward Island is a joyful experience that you don’t want to miss!Tickets : $20. Children 16 and under Free. \n\n\n\nCynthia MacLeod is one of Prince Edward Island’s finest ambassadors of traditional music\, with a distinct style of fiddling that embraces both her local roots and her ancestral connection to the Scottish highlands. Since the beginning of her career as a young teenager\, Cynthia has spent more than two decades on stages on PEI\, across Canada\, and around the world. \n\n\n\nMusically based on his Celtic roots\, Gordon Belsher’s music features an engaging variety of songs\, stories\, and instrumentals. His solo recordings include his own compositions\, along with covers of East Coast songwriters\, Irish medleys and classics\, and fresh acoustic takes on a few 60’s pop tunes. Recipient of the Prince Edward Island Music Association “Lifetime Achievement Award”\, Gordon Belsher has been performing in Canada and around the world for more than 50 years. He is a fixture of the Island music scene\, based out of his home in southeast PEI. As accompanist and featured vocalist with PEI fiddlers Cynthia MacLeod\, and Richard Wood\, Gordon has toured across Canada\, the U.S.\, the U.K.\, Europe\, Australia and Japan.
