Who We Are
The Meetinghouse Arts Center is an initiative of First Parish Northboro members. First Parish Church Unitarian Universalist of Northborough Massachusetts is located in the original Town Meetinghouse and is committed to opening the buildings and grounds of this historic Northborough landmark to the larger community. The Meetinghouse Arts Center initiative was born to work towards this purpose and is dedicated to serving our local community as an outlet for the human spirit, by offering inviting and inclusive cultural and artistic events.
We envision the Meetinghouse Arts Center as a welcoming location that regularly hosts a large array of events like concerts, exhibitions, festivals and more.
First Parish Church once stood as the spiritual and governing center of our community and while it has continued to function as a Unitarian Universalist church, it strives to again become a significant cultural center in the town and neighboring communities.
Our mission is to bring people together through art and to make the First Parish Meetinghouse, Parish Hall and grounds more available and open to all.
Our hope is that these efforts will directly benefit the larger community with the programming we bring to our town, with our support for local artists and also by sharing part of any proceeds with other local charitable organizations.
Thank you all!
