Volunteer – Meetinghouse Arts Center

At the Meetinghouse Arts Center of First Parish Northborough we are diverse group of volunteers who come together to host events like our monthly open mic, concerts by local and visiting artists, and art exhibitions that foster community and support the arts. We look forward to working with you if you’re interested in using your skills to help with our events in a way that’s rewarding to you.

Open Mic Volunteer

Event Dates : Friday Apr 4, May 2, Jun 6 2025
Hours : 5:30 PM – 9:30 p.m.
You can help with any or all of the following activities:
– setting up tables and chairs.
– setting up the stage, lighting and audio.
– working with our sound person to help all artists get set up for their performance — great way to practice your audio/video skills
– setting up the food and beverage counter
Meanwhile you can enjoy the open mic performances, which are a great mix of music, dance, poems, story telling and comedy.

Concert and Event Volunteer

– Wed. May 21: Cynthia McLeod and Gordon Belsher Concert
– June concert – TBA
Hours: Help set up 1 hour before the event and clean up half an hour after the event. You may optionally stay for the events to help as usher and support staff.
